The In-Home Pain Assessments for Cats and Dogs (English) introduce clients to the idea that cats and dogs express pain differently – from humans and from each other. These ready-to-go resources use evidence-based tools to help clients identify and evaluate pain signals in cats and dogs, including the Feline and Canine Acute Pain Scales developed by Colorado State University.

Help clients feel included in their pets’ care by giving them the tools to spot subtle changes of pain and discomfort that may otherwise go unnoticed and untreated.

The In-Home Pain Assessment for Cats (English) and In-Home Pain Assessment for Dogs (English) are also available separately. Spanish language versions are available as well: SET In-Home Pain Assessment for Dogs and In-Home Pain Assessment for Cats (Spanish).
